The Hi-Q-3/80 RT is a motorized, Remotely Tunable HF Mobile antenna.

Matching may be needed for 40 & 80 meters, using either a shunt coil or other matching device. The loading coil is a sealed unit, no maintenance is required.

Method of tuning:

MFJ-1922B or similar controller. ALL Hi-Q-Antennas now have a magnet to count rotations of the motor-output shaft. So, by adding an optional reed switch externally, you get a "pulse per revolution" for the MFJ-1922B or similar controller.
You may also use a simple DPDT switch to tune the antenna.

Power input to motor: 12/24 VDC
Mounting: 3/8-24 bolt, two insulating wafers, supplied. Mid support is recommended.
