I am very concerned about the amount of RF you are receiving with the antenna so close to your brain and eyes. QRP may be your only safe option. Do some research into this, your health is very valuable. 73, Dave

This rig looks like an 706 Icom the Rf is adjustable from 5 watts or so to 100, surely he is not running the full 100w,

Nice setup in front... probably only needs 5-10 watts at altitude .. Have ya used a field strength meter (in flightdeck)just out of curiosity at low power?? 777 A&P J.
